How does the commission structure work?

You keep 70% of every completed service. Hairqut's 30% supports booking, payments, marketing, and platform operations. There are no chair-rental or monthly platform fees.

Do I need my own equipment?

Yes — you bring your own preferred tools and products, the way you already work. You stay in control of your craft; we handle everything around it.

How and when do I get paid?

Clients pay Hairqut up front when they book, so you never invoice or collect cash on site. Your 70% is calculated per completed service. Payouts are issued manually today while we complete automated bank transfers — you connect your bank account during onboarding, and we tell you the current schedule before you take your first booking.

Can I set my own schedule?

Completely. You choose the days and hours you're available, and bookings only come in for the windows you've opened.

What are the requirements to join?

Relevant service experience, your own transport and equipment, and availability in Greater Montreal. We review work examples and onboarding information before activation.
